Oppo A53

Oppo A53 was released on 25th August. It has a 6.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (16M colors) which has 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 ratio (~270 PPI density). It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This display is energy efficient as it consumes relatively less power. It produces brighter and more vivid images without noticeable color shifts. Oppo A53 is equipped with 13 MP, f/2.2, 25mm (wide), 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro), and 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth) with LED flash, HDR, and panorama. The quality of images is good especially in bright conditions.

It captures plenty of details and smashing colors. It is also equipped with 16 MP, f/2.0, (wide) video recording 1080pixels at 30fps with HDR. It is powered by Android 10, ColorOS 7.2 which enables gestures navigation using taps and swipes to move from one App to the other therefore no need for button navigation. Octa-core (4×1.8 GHz Kryo 240 & 4×1.6 GHz Kryo 240) CPU with Qualcomm SM4250 Snapdragon 460 chipset comes in handy as it enables the phone to divide tasks based on the amount of power needed by each leading to faster load speed and multitasking capability.

DESIGN

Oppo A53 measures 163.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 186g. it comes Fairy White, Electric Black, and Fancy Blue.  At the front is 6.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (16M colors) which has 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~270 PPI density). It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen supports a hole punch at the top that houses 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture, (wide) selfie camera. the rear part of the phone features a triple camera setup in a square module and LED flash.

There is also a fingerprint scanner for authentication which gives you quick access to your phone. It is reliable and a good security measure. On the left side there is power keys and 3 in 1 tray that houses 2 4G/LTE Nano sim cards and micro SD. On the right side is power button which has a soft click when pressed. At the bottom there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, microphone and speaker grille.

CAMERA.

Oppo A53 is equipped with 13 MP, f/2.2, 25mm (wide), 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro), and 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth) with LED flash, HDR and panorama. The quality of images is good especially in bright conditions. It captures plenty of details and smashing colors. The nigh camera is also brilliant. For video recording it can shoot up to 30fps at 1080 pixels with sharp details even when you zoom in. Outdoors the dynamic range is decent and you can get clear photos. It has a standard white balance and color reproduction. Video production is 1080pixels at 30fps.

It is also equipped with 16 MP, f/2.0, (wide) video recording 1080pixels at 30fps with HDR. The camera adds more beauty to you with AI beautification. It offers more view with wide angle videos. Video stability is relatively high.

PERFORMANCE

It is powered by Android 10, ColorOS 7.2 which enables gestures navigation using taps and swipes to move from one App to the other therefore no need for button navigation. It also enables you to undo App removal and better notification control. Location control is now achievable with this Android.
