This smartphone was released on 14TH September 2020. It has a 6.4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 ratio (~411 PPI density), and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 10, and Realme UI and is powered by Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) and Octa-core (2×2.3 GHz Kryo 465 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 465 Silver).

You get 128 GB ROM for multimedia storage and 8GB RAM for the smooth running of Apps in the background. It packs a Quad camera set up 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP and a single selfie camera32 MP, f/2.5, 24mm (wide), 1/2.8″, 0.8µm for great photos. This smartphone is powered by a Li-Po 4500 mAh, non-removable battery Fast charging 65W. it is available in colors such as Mirror Blue, and Mirror Silver.

DESIGN

Just like the rest of the Realme smartphones, it looks premium and classy. It measures 160.9 x 74.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs 182g. The design is breathtaking with a neon sun rays effect that changes color depending on how you look at it.

At the front is a 6.4-inches display which holds a dot notch on the top left for the selfie camera which is used for video calls, capturing photos and videos, and also for face recognition. it has relatively thin bezels and a small chin to give you maximum display. There is also an under-display fingerprint scanner for authentication.

On the right side are power and volume keys that have a positive click when pressed. On the left side, there is a 3 in 1 tray that houses 2 4G/LTE Nano sim cards. Down below there are a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack which also assists with FM radio tuning. At the rear is a quad-camera set up with an LED flash in a square module.

SOUND

It has a single down-firing speaker with average loudness and richer sound quality. Bass and treble are standard and satisfactory. You can also plug in your earphones or headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack and enjoy your videos, music, and games with comfort. Sound quality is high with low distortion. Through the headphone jack, you can tune in to your favorite radio station and enjoy real-time updates and cool music.

SECURITY

It is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner on the power button that is accurately placed for your fingers to access it and rest on it naturally. It is super responsive and reliable. Within a tap, your phone wakes up and gives you access. There is also face recognition via the selfie camera which is also very reliable and accurate. It can register your face through the selfie camera and surprisingly works in poorly lit places.

You get a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED 16M colors with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 ratio (~411 PPI density). It has some nice advantages which are listed below

Also, with a brightness up to 480 nits, it is bright and usable outdoors with great viewing angles and adaptive light feature. Dark mode reduces blue light significantly by making your UI and Apps dark to lessen eye strain at night. Always-On display allows you to customize your screen to show time, date, notification, screensavers, and battery status. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3+.

PERFORMANCE

This smartphone runs Android 10, and Realme UI. Android 10 permits a wide range of customization without rooting the mobile device. It enables the user to free up memory, freeze applications, and even limit data access to applications. This combination enables the phone to divide tasks based on the amount of power needed by each leading to faster load speed and multitasking capability. The phone has ample memory and high APP performance.

With the help of 8GB RAM Apps can run smoothly in the background without any need of refreshing when switching from one App to the other. It does way better from light, moderate and heavy usage.

Realme UI assists you with icon customization, iconic ringtone, dual-mode music share which enables you to connect your Bluetooth and wired earphones simultaneously so that you and your friend can listen to the same song together. It also offers you game space and game assistance.

Photos are good in quality, with no noise and plenty of detail. There are a wide dynamic range and lively colors. Night shots give nice details with preserved color and the dynamic range is wider. Video recording is 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps with gyro-EIS for video stabilization to give you an unforgettable experience.

There is also a single selfie camera at the front of the display to give you awesome shots. It consists of 32 MP, f/2.5, 24mm (wide), 1/2.8″, 0.8µm with HDR and panorama features. it can produce decent selfies with great details and color. Video recording for the selfie camera is 1080 pixels @ 30/120fps, with the help of gyro-EIS. The selfie camera also supports video calls and face recognition for authentication.
